We were rescheduled for the same flight a day later. And we arrived to nice weather, flowers blooming, and zero snow. Not sure what the huge storm that shut down the airports and gave all the government a day off actually looked like for the people who were in D.C. (or if it even showed up at all) but there was no sign of any harsh winter weather twelve hours later. Occasionally it was a little windy. Israel and I went to a few afternoon conference sessions, explored the exhibit hall and wandered down towards Chinatown for some dinner. (Where we found ourselves in a mob of Capitols hockey fans. . . wish I would have checked the schedule for the Verizon Center. I wasn't too interested in shelling out the money for Saturdays NBA game but I would have love to see a hockey game!)
