These are really the only flowers I grow in my yard, but boy are they healthy and abundant. They just started blooming last week and basically covered my whole "lawn" (i.e. large fenced plot of uneven clay with splotches of grass in front of my house) with yellow polka-dots. It was pretty exciting for all the kids to have so many flowers to pick. Lex had both his grubby little fists full of them and he was so excited at his handfuls of pretty flowers. (Those hands are what I really should've photographed if I was thinking about it.) Then he put all those in a pile and went and picked this one for me: "A beautiful flower for you, Mama."
