The elementary kids have been collecting pledges over the last week to add to (or basically start) a fund for a new playground. I hope they'll be able to raise the money somewhat quickly--our playground is basically a fenced area with only a couple little worn-out pieces of equipment. We don't even have a city park in town, so it would really be nice for the kids to have a nice place to play.
