Day 197: skating. day one.

Christina & I both got our skates and haven't had a chance to use them, so we found an empty paved parking lot (a harder task than you'd think in a tiny Montana town) and loaded up some kids (because it's hard to do much without at least a few when we have eight between us) and went to try them out.

I don't think we did too bad. Azia & Jenna may still be a bit more speedy, but I'm choosing to believe that's only because they've had a little more practice. Also I wasn't quite confident enough to skate around with my new camera so I only have a couple photos taken from the side of the parking lot. Maybe next time I'll be more adventurous.
