230: when morning comes too quicky
I worked for a few hours after the kids went to sleep and just as I was getting ready for bed we got an ambulance call. It was a pretty bad wreck, so our crew spent a big chunk of the night getting patients out of cars wrecked in the middle of the highway and shipped off to hospitals by way of the Life Flight helicopter and three different ambulances. (Both Ronan Fire and Ambulance came down to help). When I finally got back home and was getting into bed, I realized it was already almost completely light outside. So much for the night's sleep. Some days a morning nap for an hour or two has to work.
