Day 285: last minute float building

One of these years we're going to start building a float about a month in advance and it will be awesome.

Above is the trailer and the kids this year on Friday evening (about 6:30 pm) and we are about to get started.

Our float for the next morning was still awesome (in a more people-focused vs giant construction sort of way) and we still had time for a little Friday night music and some fireworks.
