Day 213: buddies

 After a long day of traveling, we made it to Florida. Azia and Sophia were really excited to see each other, because they are really good friends. (Even though they've only met 4-5 times before for a few hours. . . the lack of actually knowing each other seemed a small detail in the friendship.) Even though Sophia's mom and I have been friends since we were about this age, I don't think generally friendship is genetic, but these two screamed with excitement when they first saw each other & jumped into a big hug and then were busy playing the rest of the evening. If this is the third-grade approach to potential new friendships, I sure like it a lot better than the typical middle school girl approach.
