It seemed like Spring and then we had a blizzard yesterday. A real blizzard where it was snowing so hard I couldn't see more than about 10 feet in front of me while I was driving. Of course about 15 minutes later it was bright and sunny again, but we've been having sporadic snow, hail and occasional rain bursts all day again. Even in this photo it looks nice and warm, but if you look closely those white specs all over aren't pieces of dirt on my camera lens (this time). They're hail. And it accumlated enough in this particular mini-storm for Israel & Lex to make snowballs to throw at each other. (Israel complained that the "snow" balls looked more like cauliflower balls than snowballs.)
While this is definitely interesting weather, I'm ready for the spring weather where you don't still need your snow boots! Especially since it's pretty much been snowing on a regular basis since the beginning of November this year. Snowfall already for an entire half year -- winter is only allotted three months not six.
