This is my view out my cracked, chipped windshield, for too many miles and too many minutes this semester. Thursdays are the worst because that's the one day of the week my teaching duties on opposite end of my little area here overlap. I drive like 140 miles every Thursday and do about five hours of teaching in between. I drive up to Pablo to teach at SKC and then leave directly from that class and drive to Missoula to teach at the U of M. I understand this isn't really much of a commute for most people, but I can usually walk everywhere I need to go most days. That's really more what I prefer.
