Lex was trying on my shoes last night and then he realized there were two pairs of red shoes right beside the closet. He got a little excited and as he tried to walk around in them and told me, "I like red shoes the best." And then he looked in my closet and found one more pair.
Azia got involved at that point and found yet another red pair and then had to go get her pair of red shoes and pretty soon we had an awful lot of red footwear. And some photographic evidence that apparently I too like red shoes the best. I may have a problem.

It's been cold here lately. Like single digits, barely positive digits cold. Monday I let the kids play for a few hours at the indoor play area at McDonalds. She was just watching the kids go down the big red slide until I snapped this photo...in which I have captured what was probably the most disgusting thing she did that day.

went to watch a cheer competition last weekend and ever since (...well actually even before the competition) Azia has been obsessed with getting herself a red and zebra striped cheer outfit like everyone on Mackenna's team has.

Lex picked me some flowers today. Of course they're fake and he got them out of the craft closet he wasn't supposed to be in to begin with. But he was pretty excited:"They're for you Mama! I got them for you!" He means well.
