Sandbox as Giant watertable

The kids went out and turned on the hose before 9:00.

They did take a break from their dam/ canal structure to try and yell loud enough or the ice cream truck to find them

If I would have known this was all it takes to keep them busy and occupied and in one location for three hours, I would've suggested they flood the sandbox weeks ago. Especially when I discovered all the water drains fairly quickly & doesn't actually harm the sandbox.
