We got a multicultural food trunk from Child Care Resources & the kids have been having all sorts of fun with everything in it. There was a collection of books, cool Asian dishes & play food, Mexican plastic food, a CD, dolls, puzzles, and a binder of activities and recipes. They created maracas, Chinese lanterns & did a puppet show of a Hmong folktale. We made Mexican hot chocolate, tortillas (kind of...), rice & stir fry, egg drop soup and these egg rolls.
They were all shaped pretty interestingly but the kids actually did a pretty good job. I was surprised at how good they actually were!
