It looks like it's going to be a good year for apples.
Some years there are more on my parents couple trees than you can possibly do anything with.
Other years there are hardly any.
But the trees are loaded.
It's a sure sign of fall.
About time to take an afternoon and go pick them with the kids. Time for cider and apple sauce and caramel apples.
Even with all the bears eating them daily, I think we have more than enough for whatever sorts of apple goodness we decided on.
And my Mom has already started in on apple baking.
Lex and I are having apple pie for breakfast.
