Day 239: Should I be worried they're all so comfortable behind bars?

It is the first day of summer break which is a little hectic and crazy around here with so many kids, but I hadn't already lost my mind and locked them up by noon.

This isn't actually what I was envisioning when they said they all wanted to go outside and play with the puppy. And the puppy didn't seem to be the most interesting interesting part of the kennel because even when he was out playing in the yard they all stayed in there for more than an hour. Why did we ever bother with the huge fenced grassy yard?
