August 31, 2010: Fall in the air

The calendar says we should have one more day of August weather, but today it definitely felt like fall. It's been rainy and dreary outside. I contemplated turning on the heat. I put on my wool socks this morning, made a pot of stew for dinner, and made the kids cinnamon rolls and filled up all 11 mugs with hot chocolate for their after school snack.
